I needed to make some updates to an article I was writing on Medium, but no coffee shops were open. I looked on Yelp and found this place, open till Midnight; it was around 10:30pm so it was perfect. The barista/bartender (oh yeah, this is a coffee shop/bar) made me a custom drink. He made me a latte with pear syrup sweetener and orange peel shavings on top. It was unexpectedly good. Like I said, it has a bar, but it still maintains the coffee cafe vibe.

Stoped here before going to Rose church in a rainy Sunday. Warm and welcoming hip Portlander’s spot. Craft coffee and lots of vegan options

This place is awesome. I recently started coming here to get work done for my classes, and cant stop coming back. They mean it when they put community on their sign. The staff is so nice and inviting and the atmosphere, whether you're here to be productive or have a drink, is so inviting. Best part, they let me bring my pup Rem in! Never had a dog friendly bar/coffee shop that allows pets inside. I love posting up here for 3-4 hours and just working though my assignments.
