A small cafe in the neighborhood of west Philadelphia. Coffee is really good and at a reasonable price!! We ordered turkey sausage with egg and everything bagel and chicken salad sandwich with English bread (I think that's what it's called!) And they were so good. One drawback is that the space is tiny, and you might not have any space to sit, but most people order to go I would say.

Now this is a place with good coffee! Their coffee is bold and rich, I love to get an iced caramel latte, which always hits the spot. Staff/owners are super friendly. Grilled cheese was really good! They have a great selection of milk and cream available including oat cream. Space is a bit tight about 14 total seats but they do have outdoor seating when the weather is warmer.

I looked for a local spot to pick up some breakfast on my way to U Penn Hospital this morning. Looking on the map and reading reviews, Knockbox looked interesting, so I gave it a try. I never had a lox bagel or a Philly muffin, and their sandwich looked interesting. I ordered one with a house coffee to go and headed to the hospital. The house blend dark roast was bold and tasty but not bitter. The lox on the Philly muffin was fantastic. It had just the right amount of cream cheese, so it wasn't dry. The greens added a nice freshness, and the capers rounded out the sandwich. They had plenty of unique flavored coffee syrups and some great looking pastries as well. If I am back in the area, I will certainly drop by.
