I ordered the chicken salad with crossiant and veggies Italian pasta salad. Finished off with peanut butter and chocolate chip cookies. Great atmosphere and staff very patient and kind. Amazing things to purchase for the holidays. The food very fresh and delicious.

I enjoy stopping at the Gourmet Shop whenever I'm in Columbia, SC! Such a neat place for lunch, a little shopping of unique items, cheeses, and a great selection of wines. This particular time I tried the Turkey Pesto sandwich with the pesto pasta side and a glass of unsweetened iced tea. As always, everything was delicious. I did give the service a 3-star rating due to having to wait roughly 15 minutes before anyone even asked if I was being served. After that though, the waiter that did wait on the table was fantastic and very pleasant. This will continue to be a regular stop when I'm traveling to SC. I highly recommend checking it out.

Their food options are limited and kind of strange. For example, there were no Eggs Benedict, waffles, or pancakes on the menu, and there were more cold food options, which I don't think are good choices for brunch! For instance, cold pasta was served as a side dish!, they should have informed us beforehand! My friend was really disappointed because the pasta was more like a cold salad. Also, most of their sandwiches are cold, which should be mentioned on the menu, as it's really disappointing when something isn't what you expect! Overall, we waited for 45 minutes, and I don't think it was worth it. One thing that really stands out is that if you sit inside, you're overwhelmed by the smell of frying, and you might leave smelling like it. Plus, the kitchen was incredibly dirty!
