The Whistle Stop Cafe

This was my second time going here. The first time a year or so ago was very good. I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak. Remembering how good it was, my husband and I wanted something different, so I suggested the Whistle Stop. We drove about 25+ miles to get there. This time, my husband had the club sandwich, and I had chicken spaghetti. He said his sandwich was good. The french fries were very good. My spaghetti flavor was okay, but there was only about a tablespoon of chicken in the entire dish. I think $12 was a bit much to pay for cheesy spaghetti noodles with so little protein. We will try going again in the future because I had one good and one not so good experience. I hope I can update this review to a better rating next time.

Ok fair is fair,here we go! Great plaza with an antique look of the Wild West .Good number of parking spots available. Soon as you walk in the restaurant the smell of wet carpet and moisture all over the restaurant is strong. Servers were nice with a smile and motivated except for the female server in charge. She was not motivated and happy to have a job. Servers clothes and attire were not very clean and presentable to be serving food.I will give this place another try in the near future. Hopefully I can modify my review.

I am giving a 2 star because my wife said her bowl was okay. We love trying new places and the reviews here are great, the food and service are not. My hashbrowns were soggy, none of our toast was actually toasted. They had to remake my omelet and when it was gross again they said 3rd time's a charm. I said no thanks. So, be aware, maybe it was a bad day for us but it wasn't busy and it wasn't good .
