Great down home kinda spot, food was great, mimosas for brunch were well priced, and staff was nice and attentive. Will definitely be going back.

Upon the recommendation of a local quilt shop employee, we tried this cafe for lunch. The sign for the cage is not real easy to see, we drove right past it the first time. There is plenty of parking in the back. We were seated immediately and a waitress brought us menus and are drinks quickly. Once we ordered, our food was brought promptly and HOT. I had the "Country fried steak", mashed potatoes, and fried okra. All were great. My wife had grilled shrimp on rice pilaf, not what is expected at a cafe, and fried breaded mushrooms. They were great too. The quantities were so substantial that we skipped dinner that day We will definitely stop by next time we are in the area.

So good! I’ll be back. Great prices and delicious food. They serve breakfast all day, which I love, but the potato chip chicken sandwich just sounded too good to pass up. Fresh fried okra and sweet potato fries. They have an onion sauce that is also very good. We sat on the patio on a Saturday evening. Pleasant and not too busy! There was a discount for paying cash for the meal, too!
