I was shocked by my recent take out visit to Semilla. I hadn’t been in a while but remember it being good in the past, however, at the first sip of our lattes, we were grossed out. Something was off but we couldn’t exactly pin point if it was the coffee or milk. It was undrinkable and unfortunately a waste of 3 lattes. The pastry was tasty but we were very bummed out by the coffee quality.

Nice coffee shop to work or hang out while enjoy some of the amazing creations they have. We got a couple of Lattes (Last world latte and Lavander Latte), both were pretty good and served very fast. Also saw that they have interesting drinks like Coffee tonic among other non alcoholic cocktails which I'm sure are pretty good. Definitely we'll come back next time we visit McAllen

I ordered a vanilla latte, and it wasn’t very good, it tasted sour. However, the atmosphere of the place was nice. The music was way too loud; even with my headphones on, I could still hear it while trying to do my homework. On the bright side, the staff was very friendly, and the place was spotless.
