A fantastic local breakfast spot in a city in dire need of more breakfast options. This place is the complete package: the decor is aesthetically sophisticated, yet tasteful and almost understated. Comfortable, yet large enough to seat parties of significant size—pro tip, there are almost always seats available if you’re willing to sit outside. And the food is delicious. The Cali Breakfast Burrito is not to be missed, and the sauce that comes on the side is the best part—sweet and savory, it makes a perfect companion for the chorizo, eggs, and avocado. Then wash it down with a cup of good, black coffee, and you’ve got a winning start to your day.

Wow. This might be my new favorite place! I came here Saturday for breakfast and was surprised by the comfort, service and food. I got the sunrise bowl & the salted vanilla cream cold brew. The bowl was rich in flavor with the perfect combination of berries and the subtle flavor of the nut mix. The drink was absolutely perfect. At first, you get a bit of a bitter flavor, however the more you mix the sweeter it gets. The atmosphere was perfect for an early morning coffee. They have multiple seating options including outdoor & couches inside. Not only is this location very comfortable, it is also very well kept and clean. Our waitress was very attentive, friendly and polite. I recommend this place for an early morning coffee and/or breakfast. You will not be disappointed by their delicious food & prices.

Edit: Update for the past two visits, our espresso was sour both times recently. First, great AGM and GM. These last two times we had the same barista and ordered at the counter. The barista for our initial review was not there. This last time it was too sour to drink. The manager on duty helped us out with drip as a replacement and a refund after the baristas argued with us about the espresso being sour. Definitely still love Ascension coffee but will maybe not go back to this location or check who the baristas are before we order our espresso again. Cold days like today can effect the dial in on the coffee which is understandable, but we should have been allowed a newly dialed in shot and not told that we were wrong by the baristas when both of us could taste how sour the coffee was. Old review: Shouts out to Kylie, Leo, and whoever dialed in the espresso and pulled our shots. We had food to go and coffee while we waited. The levitate, chiapas, and kyoto were all fantastic. The levitate tasted like chocolate cake. The service and quality had us leaving with big smiles on our faces. Ascension easily has some of the best coffee I've had even out of state.
