I wanted to like it, The staff is friendly, coffee was good and the shop is cozy but they charge significantly extra for any milk in your coffee other than cow breast milk (extra $ if you get soy, oat, almond etc.). Aka There's an extra charge For vegans, lactose intolerant, environmentalists, those concerned about how all our water is being diverted to alfalfa for dairy farms rather than the Great Salt Lake or anyone that has weaned themselves from animal breast milk or prefers something else. I prefer to support local coffee shops, but this is one area where Starbucks is doing the right thing and doesn't charge extra for non-animal-based milks.

Wow what a great experience. Good vibes inside, good coffee, good paninis! Outdoor seating and some cool chairs inside. You need to come here for sure. Parking is limited.

Higher Ground Coffee is a hidden gem! Small business vibes with unique flavors, yummy treats, great decor, good music, and relaxed vibes. A perfect place to take it slow and have a nice coffee, or a great place to study. The service was great, too! She was personable, kind and started conversation. The coffee was delicious. We'd be back & recommend!
