Grounded Coffee

Came here one morning as I needed a relatively quiet spot to work from. Staff was friendly and attentive and the decor and seating were good. I ordered the breakfast tacos and lord. Flavor was good however I'd preferred more eggs to meat ratio. Coffee was also good and they even offered a selection of teas.

I'm actually not a coffee drinker myself, but I had friends visiting and wanted to try some local coffee shops. Grounded coffee was one that we hit, loved how airy and bright it was? The decor is great. Whether you're trying to have a conversation and chat trying to get some work done. I'm definitely going to be coming back We all ordered something to eat as well as something to drink. Everybody was very helpful

I visited Grounded Coffee for a quick caffeine fix and a bite to eat. What I really liked was its modern aesthetic. I haven’t seen many places like it in Newport News. It seems this coffee shop is a calm workspace as many other patrons were working on their laptops. The baristas were very friendly and welcoming! I’m not that into coffee but it looks like that gave a decent selection of coffee options. I had the chicken salad sandwich. I thought pretty solid sandwich served on a croissant. I can’t really say the same for the iced matcha latte I ordered. I could barely taste any matcha, idk if it was just mostly milk or diluted since it was iced, but it was not like any matcha I’ve had in Richmond Va for example. Overall, I had a good experience. Maybe my matcha order was a one time thing so I’d consider visiting again and order a different drink. Food: 5 ⭐️ Drink: 3 ⭐️ Service: 5 ⭐️
