Such a cute place! My husband ordered the Vietnamese egg coffee (Cà Phê Trứng) and I got the Vietnamese coconut coffee (Cà Phê ćôt Dừa.) Both drinks are quite the treat as they are rich, bold, and have a sweet creamy finish to them. I appreciate the toasted coconut on my drink too. We also ordered the Sữa Đặc - Pandan Croissant and the Croissant Pâtè - breakfast croissant. If you like sweet, get the pandan croissant, but if you like more of a savory flavor, I highly recommend the breakfast croissant. Overall, staff is very friendly and it’s a quaint spot for a date or to catch up with friends! I will say the surrounding area isn’t so great, but in my opinion, if you can find street parking close to Hello Em and go during the day that would be ideal when visiting. My husband and I are not locals, but we thought this place is worth visiting and it was our last stop before heading to the airport so it was a nice send off and closing to our own personal coffee tour of Seattle. ☺️

Located in downtown in the building with the big mural with the Vietnamese girl wearing the conical hat. Street parking only. Usually I get coconut coffee or egg coffee but I’ll gravitate towards something different that I normally don’t see at other cafes. I don’t see banana coffee often and decided to order that hot. You have to be a banana lover to like this. It’s one of the better banana coffee that I’ve had because it wasn’t that strong in syrup and had more coffee ratio. It was topped with a banana chip and peanuts. Food: Bánh mì nem nướng ($9.50) - creamy pressed bánh mì like a panini. The nem was thick like spam, the sauce was a lemongrass mayo. 10/10 Pate croissant w egg ($8). - had a creamy sweet flavor. It was a big croissant that was pressed with egg and pate. 6/10 Out of all the Viet coffee shops I’ve been to in multiple states, this by far has the best and unique food menu. There’s a vendor in the back with a cart that sells Vietnamese flash cards and artsy pieces.

Adorable. Delicious. Cozy. I love Hello Em so much. The egg coffee is thick, rich, and decadent, as it should be. They have comfortable seating and every time I come here the environment is friendly and welcoming with families and individuals.
